Downtown Dallas

We went to Downtown Dallas over the weekend to explore. I have always wanted to do this and now I have my new camera and Partner in Crime to do it with.

For those of you not from Dallas, here are just a few of our good, historical and fun points.

This is the School Book Depository where JFK was shot from. Notice the second from the top squared window to your left of the corner of the building. It's slightly open. That is the window where Lee Harvey Oswald was.

We are driving over the X in the road marking where JKF was shot. This was kind of his point of view.

Texas Stadium for the Dallas Cowboys. This is the last year before the mega stadium in Arlington.

American Airlines Center

Where the Dallas Stars defeated the San Jose Sharks in the 8th longest hockey game in NHL history. Brenden Morrow scored the winning goal about 9 minutes into the 4th OT. I have a whole new respect that sport. Everyone should watch at least 1 playoff game. And make it a Stars game!! They play the Detroit Red Wings this Thursday...check it out! The winner goes to the Stanley Cup.
