Trout Fishing!!!

After a day of driving through the mountains, Craig and I were ready to go out on the town.

Craig was so excited, he could hardly contain himself.

Once he was done playing, we headed out to go fishing.

Craig then turned into a REAL fisherman.

And I escaped to take pictures.

Hair Up
Hair Down
On the way back, a tree got in our way...

Naturally Craig had to help out.
(He's the one carrying the branch)

On the way home, I split my tire.

We stopped by the University of Arkansas

Where Craig saw his first sorority house.
He was SO excited.

It was an awesome weekend.

Off We Go!!!!

Craig and I headed to Branson, Missouri over Memorial Day weekend for a nice relaxing vacation.

We left on Friday and stayed in Fort Smith, AR. We took the scenic route into Missouri. Too pretty!!

Going through Arkansas on Saturday was very calm and relaxing. The crazy and random stuff didn't start happening until Missouri!!

To Be Continued...

I Guess I Can Cook

Tonight I decided to cook dinner for a Mr Craig Rowe.

After years of watching my Dad make his homemade lasagna for Christmas dinner, I thought-I could do that.

With no recipe, I started with finding the right type of dish.

I did cheat a little. My Dad actually makes his own sauce. I just bought some spaghetti sauce and added meat.

And it started to come together.

After 30 minutes and a second batch of sauce-I was ready to cook!

Not quite the presentation I was wanting, but I thought a little over an hour was a good cook time. Next time-I'm sticking to a little under an hour!

Good thing lasagna freezes well!!

Hey Jennifer!! Look What I Can Do!!

Craig and I went to dinner with a few friends the other night.
Through conversations about Jennifer's wedding portrait, I offered to come over and take pictures of Jennifer, Scott and their 3 dogs.

I would love to do this!!!! I did a short photo shoot with Craig's sisters dog Sadie below. Here are some of my favorite shots.

Let me know Jennifer!!
I think Hansel, Avery and Parker would love it!!!

Softer Side of Nature

Challenge Time!!

This weeks challenge on Exposaroonie is the Softer Side of Nature.

This has always been my favorite pic that I have taken.

The whole purpose of the Weekly Challenges is to go out and take new creative pics though. In honor of this concept, Craig and I headed to a garden in Grapevine to catch some contest submissions.

After much consideration, here is this weeks Exposaroonie Weekly Challenge Submission

And for fun, here are the runners up...
